Partnership with SV (Switzerland) AG 2018

Together with WWF, SV Switzerland launched the "ONE TWO WE" programme in 2013 in order to successfully include sustainability into the management and operating procedures of staff restaurants and canteens with the help of experts and customers. The programme revolves around tailored sustainability plans for companies managed by SV Switzerland and raising guest awareness. SV Switzerland analyses the environmental impact along the value-added chain and reduces it wherever possible. To name an example, SV Switzerland only offers carrots of IP-SUISSE quality and primarily procures tomatoes and red peppers from greenhouses that are not heated using fossil fuels. In addition to purchasing, transport, and operation, SV Switzerland customers also choose products that contribute to climate protection. Menus labelled with the "ONE Climate" logo are offered several times a week. Climate-friendly dishes are meat-free, contain few milk products, no goods carried by air, and are preferably cooked using seasonal products.

CO2 reduction SV Switzerland

SV Switzerland has set itself the target of reducing CO2 emissions by 10% compared to 2015 figures by 2018. Measured is the reduction of CO2 in kg per main meal. The scope of application comprises all departments of SV Switzerland AG.

By 2018, a reduction of 3% over 2015 was achieved (absolute actual value 2017: 2.42 kg CO2).

Comment: Great reductions in emissions were achieved in the period 2012–2015. Over the last 3 years, it became apparent that the measures defined to date (expanding the vegetarian offer, employee training, etc.) are not effective enough. In the new period of the partnership (2019–2021), new measures that contribute to achieving the cumulative reduction targets will be developed. 

Number of businesses with the "ONE TWO WE" climate protection programme

SV Switzerland has set itself the target of introducing the "ONE TWO WE" climate protection programme at 200 companies by 2018. The number of companies is measured. The scope of application comprises all employee catering restaurants of SV Switzerland. 

By 2018, "ONE TWO WE" had been introduced at 145 restaurants.

By now, all SV restaurants meet the basic "ONE TWO WE" requirements. A further expansion of official "ONE TWO WE" restaurants was therefore not pushed.
